On this Wednesday 30th Sept I received the sad new of the passing of Catherine McVey a mother I was advocating for who was desperately trying to get contact with her 18 year old daughter currently in the alleged care of the Public Advocate in South Australia. This case highlights the significant and very real failures of our current system in absolute crisis.
